Here is a Rare 1970s Takara Hello Happy Melanie Doll by the famous artist Setsuko Tamura. Melanie doll is so kawaii and looks a lot like Tamura's works. She has rooted blonde curly hair with gingham bows, and cute eyes. Dressed in a lovely gingham pink, yellow and white dress, pantaloons and pink shoes. Her body is like a plush doll, with only her head, hands and feet with molded on shoes. Her shoes can't be taken off. She stands about 12 inches tall. In great to excellent condition for her age. No marks, tears or odors, and comes with her box and a little sewing extras. Please see photos. Great for any shoujo anime 70s doll or character doll collection.
