Here is a lovely rare 1970's sewing mannequin type doll called Kindai Kazari Ningyou or Modern-Age Adorn Doll. Created by Takara Corporation President at that time. She is truly a very rare doll even in Japan and not much else is known about her. I've only come across a small few from time to time.
She stand about 13 inches tall. Her body is designed very similar to the human-size mannequins of the 60's and 70's. Her body is made of vinyl through out, with clay material inside from her hips to her feet, to help keep her balanced. She is able to move only her arms, forearms, and waist. The rest of her body is stationary. She has long elegant arms and her fingers are spread out in an expressive pose. Her shoes are molded on in a beige color and cannot be removed. Underneath her left shoe is a hole in which a metal stand is to go into for more support (stand included). Her neck does not move, her face makeup is beautiful with mod light blue eye shadow and dark liner, so very mod! So Twiggy-Like! She has synthetic hair in a blonde bob hair style! She will come wearing a lovely 1970's style floral blouse, and black pattern bell bottoms. (She can fit Lisa Littlechap clothing, just a reference.) Please see photos, you will only receive the mannequin in black pants, other listed separately. A lovely addition to any vintage mannequin, latexture, fashiondol, or McCall pattern collector, High Fashion Lina or Duex-L collection.
